Topography

 
     
  The majority of topography is mountainous and hilly with plains near the main river such as Mae Sun River, Mae Poon River. Khun Tan is the most important peak which is a part of Pee Pun Nam Mountain.  
     
 

Geology

 
     
  The majority of discovered stones are rotten Granite Stone in Tercheery Era and date to approximately 6.5 - 1.5 million years ago.  
     
 

Hydrology

 
     
  There are areas along the Wang River. According to the government's conclusion, it is considered as a 3rd case area of river.  
     
 

Meteorology

 
     
  It is covered with Southwest Monsoon and Northwest Monsoon. There are 3 main seasons; the duration of the rain season is approximately June to September. Winter is from October to January and the duration of summer is February to May.  
     
     
 

Soil Resource

 
     
  Soil is divided into 2 main kinds. There is hilly soil and mountainous soil. Mountainous soil is considered as Tah Yarng and Mae Rim Types. The surface of the soil is friable soil mixed with sandy soil. The deeper soil is mixed with stones.  
     
 

Forest Resource

 
     
  The types forest are the drought unspecified dipterocarpacese forest and chorea forest. The important natural plants are teakwoods, pterocurpus, lagerstroemia, shorea, dipterocarpacese, dalbergia, Thai genus, guns eugenia, dipterocarpus, simaroubacese etc. The area of plantation is divided into 3 main benefited parts as follows:  
 
         
  1. Planted teak area

Wild Animals Resource

 
     
  The plantation is near to Paa Muang Wild Animal Preservation. There are many wild that enter the plantation for food. The wild animals are divided as follows:  
     
 
  1. Feed Offspring Animals are wild boar, barking deer, rabbit, squirrel, chipmunk, wild cats and fishing cats.
  2. Reptiles are lizards, tortoise and snakes.
  3. Amphibious Animals are frog, small frog, bullfrog, and toad.
  4. Wing Animals are birds.
  5. Aquatic animals are fish.
